This month’s Cookalong features Nigella’s Almond and Orange Blossom Cake. It’s a simple cake to make, and you could do this by hand or use an electric mixer. And it is flavoured with almond extract, orange zest and juice, and orange blossom water (which can be found in most supermarkets now). Once cooked and cooled it’s simply dusted with a little icing sugar, but do feel free to use whatever summery adornment you like, and perhaps some fruit as mentioned in the intro.
