Our answer

Nigella's Instant Chocolate Mousse (from NIGELLA EXPRESS) is a mousse that is made with melted marshmallows. The gelatine in the mashmallows helps the mousse to set quickly. The mousse mixture may be a bit tooo fragile to make into a full cake, as it would stick to the sides of the cake pan. However it may be possible to make it into a tart or pie.

Nigella uses a similar method for the filling of My Brandy Alexander Pie and we would suggest maybe using the cookie crumb base from this recipe as the pie shell and then filling it with the chocolate mousse mixture. If you prefer a plain graham cracker crust then you could try the digestive biscuit/graham cracker crust from the No-Fuss Fruit Tart instead. We would suggest chilling the finished pie overnight to make sure that it sets as firmly as possible and cut with a sharp knife. For clean slices, wipe the knife in between each cut.
