We had some blackberries left over from our jam making, so I made this Galette using mascarpone with a little vanilla extract and sugar instead of the crème fraîche. The pastry came out short and crunchy, and the fruit was gorgeous. The whole family thought it was fabulous. (Imogen aged 13)
