This was made for both St Patrick's Day for my Irish husband to have a taste of home but also as a throwback to our wedding as this was the bottom tier of our wedding cake. We love the classic Guinness cake without any changes. It's a process of love and impatience as I always struggle to wait for it to completely cool before taking it out of the tin/ice it!!! I don't think I've ever managed!
