My version of Nigella’s Pear, Pistachio and Rose cake has a medium brown bake, that’s how my kids like it. The quick DIY rose petals on top add a rather homely look to it. With the bleak situation in India and most flower shops closed, these homemade petals add a ray of sunshine to the day.
