Caramelized Bananas

Pre heat the oven to about gas 6 Peel the bananas , and cut them into quarters, Lay all the pieces in the center of a large sheet of tin foil, and sprinkle over 4 tbsp of the sugar (so one tbsp of sugar to a banana if you are just doing it for yourself) Then fold over the sides so it makes a neat parcel, put them on the top shelf of the oven, and check on them every 5 minutes, when they are done, all the sugar will have melted. Then enjoy!

This recipe is great, it is so simple you cant go wrong, its not even cooking really, but at the end of a long day these are great with a scoop of Nigella's orange ice cream. a real relaxer.
