This tart is my son’s favorite, and he has asked for it to be his birthday “cake” every year since he was 6 (he is now 19). I like to make the lemon curd that is in the intro to the lemon pavlova recipe in “SimplyNigella”, and I slice the fruit to make it look even more beautiful. It makes it a little less fuss free, but it is supremely good, and is a very special birthday treat!
