I baked this gateau for the 70th anniversary of my sister in law and friend Dé! She was pleasantly surprised, and.... she adored this gateau. The combination of the fruit with the creamy lemon curd: just fabulous! Thank you Nigella for this recipe (and for many others....) I did win already by having a very grateful customer.....
