Firstly wash your beans till the water is clear and then place in a bowl with your butter beans fill with water and soak for 24hrs. Chop you Carrot & Leek and place with the beans and gammon joint in a slow cook pot and cover with water. Place on high over night and in the morning stir and turn down to low. Leave it till the evening and then serve with crusty bread.
