The recipe for the Autumnal Birthday Cake doesn't say what size cake tin to use. Can you help please? Vanessa

Nigella's Autumnal Birthday Cake (from Domestic Goddess and on the Nigella website) is a 2-layer sponge cake and is baked using two 21cm (8-inch) diameter sandwich tins or cake pans.

The tins should be greased with some extra softened butter (or use a baking spray) and the bases should be lined with circles of baking parchment (parchment paper).
