The Chicken Schnitzel looks lovely. Should the streaky bacon be smoked or unsmoked?

Nigella's Chicken Schnitzel With Bacon And White Wine (from NIGELLA EXPRESS) serves up pan fried escalopes of chicken with crisp bacon and an easy pan sauce. The bacon is streaky bacon as this has more fat than back bacon and the rendered bacon fat is used to cook the chicken, adding flavour along the way.
