How does the Chocolate Clould Cake keep if not all eaten in one day?

Nigella's Chocolate Clud Cake (from NIGELLA BITES) is a flourless cake that is sometimes referred to as a "sunken" or "fallen" cake as the cake will sink back as it cools, leaving a dip in the centre that can be filled with flavoured whipped cream. The cake, without the whipped cream, can be stored in an airtight container in a cool place for 2-3 days.
Once the cake has been topped with cream then it needs to be stored in the fridge, covered loosely, and leftovers should be eaten within a day. Unfortunately the cake will have a much more solid texture once it is chilled, though will still be rich, dark and delicious.
