Can I Use Oreos For The Ice Cream Cake?

Nigella's Ice Cream Cake (from NIGELLA EXPRESS) is an easy but impressive dessert made from vanilla ice cream, peanut butter swirl or chocolate chips, honey roasted peanuts, crushed honeycomb candy and crushed bourbon biscuits.

Bourbon biscuits are chococlate sandwich cookies and you could use Oreos, or indeed any other chocolate sandwich cookies, as an alternative. Bourbon biscuits are sandwiched with a chocolate cream, so we would, if possible, use chocolate creme Oreos (sometimes sold as chocolate brownie oreos), but if these are not available then the vanilla creme version could also be used.
