Nigella's Chocolate Olive Oil Cake (from NIGELLISSIMA) is particularly popular as it can be made in gluten-free form or made with regular flour. The recipe suggests using "regular olive oil" rather than extra virgin olive oil, as extra virgin olive oil can be a little too assertive in flavour.
We prefer not to recommend a particular brand of oil as there are so many brands of oil and brand availability will vary widely, depending on where you live.
