Full question

I have often made the fabulous Frangelico Tiramisu. Can I double the recipe to make two for a bigger crowd?

Our answer

Nigella's Frangelico Tiramisu (from NIGELLA KITCHEN) and other tiramisu recipes, such as the very popular Irish Cream Tiramisu, can easily be doubled. You can either make the tiramisu in two equal-sized dishes or you could use an extra wide/long dish, though we would avoid using an extra deep dish as usually tiramisu only has two layers of sponge (savoiardi/ladyfinger) biscuits.

As the amount of coffee mixture for dipping the sponge fingers is generous, you could make slightly less then double the quantity. But if in doubt make the full amount, as it is better to have a little too much than to have a slightly dry tiramisu.
