Mini Lemon Loaf Cakes

Full question
I would like to make 'mini loaf' cakes using the Lemon-Syrup Loaf cake recipe. Can you advise how to calculate the cooking time and oven temperature? Thank you
Our answer
Nigella's Lemon-Syrup Loaf Cake (from Domestic Goddess) is a lemon flavoured madiera style cake that is bathed in a lemon syrup after it has been baked. Usually it is baked in a large loaf tin and sliced. However you can buy mini loaf tins and also mini cardboard loaf cake cases that are great to use as gifts or for bake sales.
In Domestic Goddess Nigella also has a recipe for Mini Lime-Syrup Sponges and these are mini versions of the lemon cake, just flavoured with lime instead of lemon. The pan Nigella uses for the mini cakes is an 8 cavity pan giving mini loves that are approximately 10cm x 6cm (4 x 2 1/4 inches). The mini cakes are still baked at 180c/350F but the baking time is reduced to about20-25 minutes. When the cakes are ready they will be firm to the touch and a cake tester inserted into the centres will come out clean.
