Our answer

All of Nigella's recipes on Nigella.com, including the Molten Chocolate Babycakes, now carry oven temperatures in the fomat of "degrees centigrade/degrees centigrade fan oven temperature/gas mark temperature/degrees farenheit". The website is global so has temperature guidelines for as many countries as possible. Nigella's books will reflect the temperature measurements most suited to the home market. You should use the oven temperature that is most relevant to your own oven but the temperatures given are equivalent.

Fan oven (convection oven, fan assisted oven) adjustments are given as electric fan ovens are now common in many kitchens. We use a standard adjustment, however it is always worth checking the oven user guide as models do vary. Gas mark temperatures used to be common in the UK but are now used less. However we have left them in due to requests from Community members.
