For the Gluten Free Banana Bread, if I need to make it without walnuts (allergy issues) then do I need to add something else?

Nigella's Gluten-Free Banana Bread is a moist and tender banana bread studded with chunks of walnuts and dark chocolate. The walnuts are chocolate are mix-ins, which means that they are not an essential component of the banana bread batter and can be changed.
Pecans would be the best substitute, if there is no allergy to them. Otherwise hazelnuts or almonds would be worth considering and pistachios would give a nice pop of colour. You could also omit the roughtly chopped nuts completely if that is easier.
