We are 3 friends/culinary arts students studying in Florence, Italy. We tried to incoperate a bit of Italy in this recipe by adding chopped hazelnuts, grated nutmeg and grounded balck pepper in the cake batter and we have substitued the cream cheese frosting with 125g mascarpone 125g whipping cream 125g cream cheese 50ml guiness 100g powdered sugar We also cut down sugar in the batter to 300g instead of 400g In the spirit of St.Patricks's day, we created a cut out of a shemrock and dusted with powdered sugar. Hope you like our variation! We surely loved it! And so did our professors
