I had never made bread before because I had been put off by the risk of it being over/under kneaded or over/under proved. I'm glad I went for it in the end because it was heavening tearing off chunks of these warm sticky sweet buns which we ate with fresh English strawberries for brunch on Bank Holiday Monday.
