My oven temperature is uneven and cooks from base up so to avoid burning the beautiful buns I used the same ingredients and method but put in a slow cooker on medium, I glazed the scrolls with a dusting of sugar and freshly ground spice. I think outside the box and turned out with a rose for you :) Soft, sweet, sticky and that little bit of spice!
