Having recently been to Copenhagen, I visited Sankt Peder's Bageri. The famous cinnamon rolls were the best I had ever tasted, and I came home determined to make some to relive the baked goodness. So it was a delightful surprise when I found this month's Cookalong to be cinnamon buns! Taking my Danish experience, I adjusted the recipe by lessening the sweetness of the filling by reducing the sugar, and instead lightly decorating the top of the buns with icing. Not as technically perfect as Sankt Peder's of course, but closer than I thought I could get and absolutely delicious all the same!
