Nigella inspired chocolate nest cake topped off with speckled eggs for a pop of color. It was not planned to be made, but then we got chosen to host an Easter Lunch before everyone goes away for Easter Weekend. Luckily it was an allergy free guest list so mostly easy going. I made the base late the morning of the lunch, and decided to prepare the filling just after lunch. (It was very hot didn't want to risk filling going soft). I finished off the nest with some speckled eggs with a jelly centre. The final result made the guests indulge in chocolate glory till nothing more remained. After all it's quite a light dessert compare to baked puddings.
