I joined forces with my wife and daughter on Mother's Day to make this wonderful cake, hence the heart shape! The cream must already have been too firm when we added the chocolate so the topping does not look like intended (it was/is delicious, though!) but we followed Nigella's words of wisdom and did "not panic at the vision of imperfection in front of" us :-)
