
When Lemon Pavlova causes your Kenwood Chef to go blow up and the realisation you have no almonds in the pantry... It was in the end a beautiful creation, freshly made lemon curd in Thermomix - too easy- and yes, after 20 years of faithful whipping, the meringue being wonderfully whipped, suddenly went horribly wrong with a puff or two of smoke! Continued bravely on with battered beaters only to find no almonds but the hazelnuts were delightfully tasty.
