Moist and delicious cake, a hint of the Middle East and North Africa. I followed the recipe closely but used the pedal attachment on my mixer instead of a food processor (I don’t have one…) I have ground together organic granulated raw sugar with the pistachio kernels, used 5 XL organic free range farm eggs instead of 6 large ones and my divine treasured Lebanese rose water. I didn’t have rose petals though… (Partner has a severe allergy to gluten so this recipe is perfect with gluten free baking powder.)
