This cake is destined for a school morning tea today so I baked it square for easier cutting. The roses have just about finished in my garden so I made some sugar rose petals instead and I think they turned out pretty well :) I baked two little cakes so I could taste the recipe myself and I am so impressed with this simple recipe, I'll be making it again this weekend, for family.
