This is my FIRST cook-a-long! I started buying gathering the ingredients at the beginning of the month and have finally completed on time. Instead of glaze and flower petals, I made an origami butterfly to decorate. It is one step along my way to living my dreams. Every time I went to buy an ingredient I felt guilty because I am just doing this for fun - I don't even know who is going to eat it! But I LOVE baking, and I thought of my best friend, 1200 kilometres away, while baking it. She is gluten-free and would love this. Thank you, Nigella, for this opportunity to expand my life. All of the entries are unique and it is a blessing just to be able to share in this experience. See you next month!!
