
When I saw this recipe I knew I had found the perfect birthday cake for my wife’s birthday! I hadn’t ever made a flourless cake before but knew this one would be perfect! I just followed the recipe but added a little more pistachio, jam and rose water in the glaze as I wanted the lovely shiny look to jump out. We both love you Nigella and the cake turned out magnificently. The delicate rose scent suited the moment as my wife is a florist and into the big run up for Mothers Day so the cake was perfect.
