My daughter, Safia, who is in her first year at primary school got to bring home Buster (the soft toy puppy you get when you've done something brilliant). We decided to make these strawberry shortcakes in celebration. Ours are slightly darker than the original due to all the extra sugar "Buster" put on top:-) They were nonetheless absolutely delish and I will be making them again for the next school achievement (or maybe before!)
