What fun! I wanted to stay in keeping with Nigella’s idea of a child-friendly cake (nothing too spooky or ghoulish) with pops for trick-or-treaters to enjoy, so I decorated marshmallows to make the most adorable little Halloween creatures - witches, bats, mummies, Jack-o’-lanterns, Frankensteins and (my favourites!) vampires with the cutest little black collars and (I die!) fangs. The cake was chocolatey, moist and didn’t last long! Halloween isn’t big in Australia, but I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed baking anything as much as this. Thanks for the inspiration Nigella!
