It isn’t citrus season in South Africa at the moment, so I could only find lemons to bake the cake with. I didn’t add the extra sugar, because after baking, I crumbed the cake and added some icing to make it into cake pops. Dipped them into chocolate and sprinkled some with lemon zest and some with coconut flakes.
