I must confess that watching “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty” (a 2013 movie) was the inspiration for making the famous Clementine Cake. I fell in love with the look of it and when googled for recipe I came across my beloved Nigella’s website. The only twist I made was that I drained the water of the clementine halfway through boiling, poured fresh boiling water over them and let them simmer for another hour. This time I wanted to give it a Wintery look so I used sugared rosemary springs and cranberries for decoration, also made pine cones out of sliced almonds.
