I had fun with this recipe. My frosting didn’t stand up quite as well as I had hoped but my son didn’t love it any less! I used homemade berry preserves in between the cake and the frosting, as suggested, and opted for fresh blackberry instead of sprinkles, as they were what I had on hand. Happy Valentine’s!
