Every time I upload a photo it tilts on the side. So, I’m going to go with that as an “ode to the Irish” and the squiffy time on the Guinness St Patrick’s Day gives us all. I have made 100’s of Nigella’s Recipes over the years and never made it to this, although a marker has been in the page for a long time. It is by far one of the most joyous of all cakes she has inspired and guided me into creating. The photo does it no justice but there wasn’t long to take another before it was gone entirely. Made for a family dinner with my American husband’s family, introducing them to some Anglo ways. Thank you as ever Nigella. Xxx Gemma
