I made this cake using Nigella's exact recipe, as why mess with perfection? For the frosting, however, I added a little bit of crushed pistachio on top, not just because they lend a delectable, nutty crunch that complements the cake's wonderful dampness, but also because the green echoes Ireland's lush pastures.
