Every Good Friday is Hot Cross Bun making day for my family. My Dad started this tradition nearly 40 years ago and I’m proud his 3 kids have carried this on, with each of us adding their own touch to it. This is my contribution to the tradition. My added touch this year is soaking the fruit in a fig gin as well as using the gin in the glaze.
