"Have faith," Nigella said and in the end, that's what I settled for - to have faith, again, in your recipe. I used dried apricots and dates spiked with a bit of Port, instead of raisins, currants and so on, which I don't like at all but seem to be in every festive English recipe. Thank you for the nudge in way of Cookalong, our house smell like heaven now :)
