I love my easter spiced buns to be on the bigger side, even if I have to squish them into the toaster a little with lots of butter is a must. The smell of spiced dough to me is what makes easter such a treat, its not easter till the first batch come out of the oven. I changed the cross recipe to Chelsea Winters as they always come out perfect. 1/2 cup flour 1 tbsp sugar 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/3 cup cold water. Mix together to a paste and pipe over the buns.
