I’m moving house so I had to go with the only cake tin that isn’t in storage, hence the loaf tin! I personalised the recipe by adding a sugar and lemon syrup to halve the cake in place of the jam. Topped with dried flowers and pistachios. I baked it for Mother’s Day and served with double cream. It was graciously accepted and adored by all the mothers!
