Although we have a large Turkish community in our village due to our coal mining history, I couldn't find any rosewater in the local supermarket. I did have a bottle of very fine rose liqueur in my kitchen cabinet, so I used a few drops of that instead. It smells just like a rose, and it definitely tastes as sweet!
