My four-year-old daughter, Emmy, and I love watching The Great British Bake Off together. She was particularly excited to watch Kim-Joy make her fantastical desserts. When I asked if she'd like to do this month's cookalong with Nigella, she was thrilled! She could bake fancy Halloween creations AND enter a contest: our very own British Bake Off! Please enjoy her sparkly creations! We added a bit of cream cheese and lemon juice to the buttercream for tang and body. We baked the cookies as written - they were easy to handle, easy to cut and baked up beautifully. I highly recommend this recipe when baking with kids.
