This was my first ever attempt at making a swiss roll type cake and I was so proud of how it turned out. I took it to a Christmas dinner party where it became the centrepiece of the table and it was such a beautiful addition to the evening. I also had to cover it in gold dust because I can't have a cake without some sparkle!
