I decided to bake this old fashioned chocolate cake as it’s my daughter’s birthday..in April! She was an Easter baby so this was a trial attempt at her birthday cake. This cake cheered us up this weekend when it was grey and gloomy outside..thinking about sunshine and warmer days very soon! I would definitely make this cake again. I followed the recipe without any changes and found it very easy..great result!
