I kept the traditional recipe..after all it is called Old Fashioned Chocolate Cake...and stuck with a simple topping of strawberries and a dusting of icing sugar as I think it’s something my grandmother would have done! We were going to serve with a dollop of freshly whipped cream but it was truly so deliciously fudgy and decadent without it.
