A deliciously rich chocolate cake to keep any fussy chocolate lover happy. I did swap golden syrup for maple syrup because my youngest son is obsessed with it and I would never have heard the end of it if I hadn't. I also baked it in a single cake tin and baked it for about 20 mins longer than suggested.
