I’m not much of a photographer so this is my maximum effort. The custard sandwich cookies however were incredibly simple and that is what I love most about Nigella's recipes, they are just fun and pleasurable! I flip my cookies over on the baking tray for and extra minute or two to crisp the tops- my mom taught me that trick!
