Here is my sourdough version, which I have baked twice now and have been so impressed with the results. We enjoyed this batch for breakfast this morning . I left out the yeast and added 190g of my ripe starter which is made with half bread flour and half water. I added 90g less flour and 90ml less milk but kept everything else the same. They proved overnight in the fridge. They taste so good, make the kitchen smell amazing and need no extra shopping; a feel good recipe perfect for lifting the current mood.
