Today is my birthday so I made some cinnamon buns for my guests. In Norway we Call them "Skillingsboller", skilling was a small coin in Norway before maybe a skilling was the prize for a bun? The traditonal filling is butter, sugar and cinnamon. Apple and cinnamon are best friends so I cut apple in small pieces and put it in the dough. For a twist I used pistachio cream in half of the dough.
