The butter separated as I mixed it with the eggs and milk. Instead, I melted the butter and I didn’t mix it with eggs and milk. I added the butter on it own straight to the flour mixture. It worked. Second problem was the the dough was too sticky to handle so I let it rest for two hours. After two hour raising I had still a very soft dough so I had to add more flour as I eventually could knead it. Again I left it prove for 30 mins or so. Then, I felt relieved that the dough got enough consistency to work with it. Second problem solved. I have to try my buns and they were beautiful to eat after all. I still can’t understand what happened. Maybe my kitchen was too hot or my butter too hot. I melted in the microwave for 30 seconds. Thank you.
